Schüco at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024

Hall 7, stand 7-507

(PresseBox) (Bielefeld / Weißenfels, )
At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 Schüco will be showcasing its current product and service portfolio as well as a number of product innovations. The specialist in building envelopes will be in its usual location in hall 7 at stand 7-507. This year, the stand will be divided into three themed areas: ‘CARBON CONTROL’, ‘RESIDENTIAL’ and ‘DIGITAL’ and visitors are invited to explore the exhibits, with sustainability being the main focus for this year’s event.

The three themed areas will be arranged around a café in the centre, with ample space for attendees to spend some time discussing the company’s latest product innovations and enhanced digital services. These areas will focus on reduced-carbon building envelopes, digital services and residential construction respectively. Sustainability is the ‘green thread’ running through all three areas in line with the company’s aspiration to be a pioneer for effective sustainability in the construction industry with its products and services. Part of the stand will also be dedicated to providing an overview of how all the company divisions are involved with the topic of sustainability. One special feature of the stand’s architecture is the partition wall systems from Schüco Interior Systems, which serve both as an architectural element and as a display item.

Carbon Control

Predictive planning and intelligent use of materials also play a key role in one of the stand’s three overarching themed areas: ‘Schüco Carbon Control’. The modular range, first unveiled at the start of 2023, enables fabricators, architects, investors and operators to take a holistic approach to the building envelope – i.e. over its entire lifecycle – and thereby optimise its carbon footprint in every phase of the building’s life. At Fensterbau Frontale, we will be paying particular attention to the carbon footprint of window, door, and sliding systems and providing answers about how to best meet the requirements of reduced-carbon residential construction. New PVC material grades will also be introduced for the first time as part of Schüco Carbon Control. PVC is a reusable material that can help to reduce carbon usage and is therefore ideal for reducing the carbon footprint of Schüco PVC-U profiles. PVC can also be recycled up to seven times after being used and can be fed back into the materials cycle. Representatives from Schüco subsidiary RE:CORE will be available at our stand to answer any questions about how this works. The recycling specialist was founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Remondis and Schüco with the aim of actively contributing to a sustainable construction industry by establishing a closed PVC-U materials cycle. Together with RE:CORE, as a founder member of the recycling initiative Rewindo and as a VinylPlus product certified company, Schüco has set itself the task of gradually increasing the proportion of recycled material used in its PVC-U profiles for all systems.

Digital

The second themed area focuses on digital services. In this area, Schüco will be showcasing the wide array of options available to support customers and partners and make their work easier. Along with the new marketing centre, which provides digital marketing materials for Schüco partner companies, this area will also shine a spotlight on the Schüco Connect service portal. The portal allows customers to view orders online any time, track delivery status and access business documents. Schüco Connect also has a master data service centre and useful link section with fast access to the most important websites and software applications from Schüco. The digital services also include the handy IoF ID (Internet of Façades) tag, featuring a QR code that can be used to access the building’s digital twin via an app. You can save all the relevant data on the installed systems here and take the hassle out of maintenance and repair work in the process. This increases the lifespan of the systems and makes it easier to recycle when replacing or dismantling construction elements. Another highlight will be the VR station, where visitors will be able to explore virtual reference projects with a VR headset.

Residential

After exploring virtually with the VR headset, attendees can then experience the real thing in the third themed area, ‘Residential’. That’s because this stand area is dedicated to the topic of residential construction, whether with PVC-U, aluminium or hybrid. The versatile system solutions are equally suitable for new builds or renovations and provide solutions for single or multiple-family residences. What’s more, there will also be exhibits on display covering current industry topics such as urbanisation, serial construction and intelligent building control. The product innovations Schüco FocusIng and Schüco Perfect will also be on display alongside renowned products such as the Schüco LivIng system platform and the Schüco Symbiotic hybrid system. The Schüco FocusIng window system with 76-mm vent basic depth combines optimal performance characteristics and sustainable material. The system’s visual design includes modern, sharp contours and minimal protrusions. From a structural perspective, it is designed to have the highest possible proportion of recycled materials; Schüco FocusIng is also compatible with the Schüco LivIng and Schüco CT 70 systems, ensuring low storage and transport costs thanks to its use of identical parts. The Schüco Perfect system is an integrated system platform for windows and sliding units made of PVC-U and aluminium. Add-ons such as sun shading and a flyscreen, a windowsill, a safety barrier and even a threshold can be delivered pre-fabricated or pre-assembled, enabling easy on-site assembly within just ten minutes by any tradesperson. For safe and time-efficient planning, production and installation. The Schüco ASE 60/80.HI Perfect (Aluminium Sliding Element) system and the PVC-U Schüco LivIng Perfect system will also be on display at Fensterbau Frontale.
