The S2data Platform enables you to automatically optimize the logistics network, routes, freight rates, pallets, and cargo space during transport planning and then audit the transport in terms of invoicing, loading, and delivery. At LogiMAT, Austrian optimization provider S2data will present its comprehensive software, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to fully automate, analyze, visualize, and continuously optimize transport planning. The solution thus digitizes what was previously a cumbersome manual process. At its joint appearance with Logistikbude at the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, S2data will demonstrate to interested parties how the software solution covers the entire planning process, from strategic and tactical network planning and optimization to operational scheduling. The joint booth of the two companies can be found in Hall 4 at position 4A64.
Automated transport planning
The automated transport planning of the S2data Platform starts exactly where fragmented processes, manual data comparisons, and isolated tools still dominate everyday planning today. Building on a consistent database of network data, freight rate logic, shipment structures, and operational restrictions, the AI generates reliable transport proposals – from route selection and freight rate decisions in the network to palletizing and cargo space utilization to freight and invoice verification. The system continuously evaluates all available options, compares less-than-truckload shipments with full truckload and less-than-truckload scenarios, takes into account weight, volume, load meters, priorities, and service levels, and automatically compiles the most economical and environmentally friendly transport solution. For supply chain planners and dispatchers, this means a noticeable reduction in workload: instead of time-consuming manual checks, they receive automated, quality-assured suggestions that they can accept directly or refine further. In this way, S2data is consistently implementing its vision of a continuous, AI-supported transport planning ecosystem.
Transport optimization – a holistic approach
The S2data Platform stands for holistic transport optimization that goes far beyond simple cargo space or route calculation. At its core is an algorithmic, integrated decision-making model that systematically links logistical, operational, and economic factors. These include demand plans, capacities and utilization rates, freight rates, network structures, and warehouse, inventory, and production data. This creates a realistic picture of the entire transport and supply chain situation.
The AI software can be flexibly integrated into existing process landscapes and thus obtains the required data from existing transport management, warehouse, and ERP systems. Thanks to the adaptive modeling of all relevant planning parameters, decisions are not made in isolation, but in the context of the entire network – significantly more precisely and reliably than in classic transport planning systems.
For users, this means fewer empty runs, better utilization of cargo space and capacities, lower CO₂ emissions, and significant cost reductions. In practice, transport costs can be reduced by up to 25 percent without compromising operational stability or service levels.
S2data not only automates individual planning steps, but also connects and optimizes the entire transport planning process. Companies from the automotive, industrial, retail, and logistics sectors use the software globally to manage complex transport networks more efficiently, sustainably, and with long-term planning reliability. At the joint booth with Logistikbude at 4A64 in Hall 4, visitors to LogiMAT from March 24 to 26, 2026, can see for themselves the potential of the software solution and the performance of the AI-based tool.
