He succeeds Franz Praxenthaler, who retired after an impressive 48 years with the company. Josef Rottenaicher brings extensive experience from his time at BayernLB, where his responsibilities included corporate and investment banking. Since joining Rosenberger in 2016, he has played a key role in numerous strategic initiatives and structural projects. Most recently, Rottenaicher was responsible for the Group Finance & Controlling division. With Josef Rottenaicher, an experienced financial strategist is taking over responsibility for the financial management and further development of the Rosenberger Group. His expertise and deep understanding of the company’s structure lay the foundation for a forward-looking financial strategy focused on both stability and growth.

After a total of 48 years of service, Franz Praxenthaler was honored with a ceremonial farewell on September 25 in the company's own staff restaurant. Well over 100 guests, including colleagues, business partners and representatives of the owner family, attended the event. In his speech, Hans Rosenberger particularly highlighted Praxenthaler's vision, reliability and contribution to the company's extraordinary development. The management, colleagues and works council also thanked him for his many years of service, and Franz Praxenthaler said his farewells, visibly moved and grateful.
