Rheinmetall has been commissioned by a NATO customer to supply HERO Loitering Munition Systems. A total of several hundred systems have been ordered this year. The value of the contracts is in the low three-digit-million euro range gross. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2026 and are scheduled to be completed by the end of next year. The LM systems will be produced in Italy by RWM Italia with the support of the partner UVision Air Ltd.
The ordered HERO systems are equipped with the latest generation of high performance anti-tank warheads developed by Rheinmetall.

- HERO 120 (Medium-sized LM for precision strikes against armoured vehicles and immovable installations)
