Responsys' expansion into Japan is an important move for the company given consumers in Asia are more engaged than ever across the digital channels. For example, in Japan, 96 million people will use the internet by 20131, while currently 102 million people use mobile devices2 and 47% of smartphone owners access social media on their device daily3.
