To promote sustainable energy in the private sector, the EBRD and the EU, through the Romanian banks, provides funding and guidance to companies wishing to invest in energy efficiency and small scale projects of renewable energy. To date, the EBRD has invested over euro 7 billion across 370 projects in Romania. It has also mobilised more than euro 14 billion for these ventures from other sources of financing.
The exhibition will host companies from: PV, hydropower, energy efficiency, biomass, biogas, cogeneration, energy consulting, financing services and others. Companies such as: Caleffi România, C Geangu Consulting S.R.L., CINK Hydro-Energy k.s., Global Hydro Energy GmbH, Superlit România S.A., Voith Hydro S.R.L. and others have already booked a booth.
In parallel with the exhibition, national and international conferences and side events will be organised. The highlight of this edition will be the 1st International Energy Efficiency Summit, organised by REECO company in Romania. The summit will present two major topics: Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Energy Efficiency in Industry. Other themes will be: bioenergy with biomass and biogas topics, solar energy, hydropower, waste to energy and cogeneration.
Also for the 1st time, in parallel with the fair, workshops will be organised with topics on project financing and Romanian energy export initiative.
With this year edition of the trade fair and conferences RENEXPO® SOUTHEAST EUROPE, REECO company intends to host around 110 national and international exhibitors, 2200 specialised visitors and 600 conference participants.
