Matrox Imaging Library – MIL
Matrox Imaging Library – MIL - is a comprehensive collection of software tools for developing industrial imaging applications. MIL includes tools for every step in the process: from application feasibility, to prototyping, through to development and ultimately deployment.
The new version of the software, MIL 9.0, has been tailored to meet the demands of high-throughput, processing-intensive applications. MIL 9.0 takes advantage of multiple multi-core CPUs and even GPUs to accelerate image processing functions. Also included are new color analysis tools, 3D calibration for vision-guided robotics and 3D calibration and reconstruction using laser-based profiling.
5. November 2008
09.30 bis 10.15: MIL 3D (Englisch)
Discover how MIL's new 3D functions allow you use a pair of calibrated cameras to retrieve the position of features in the world space, set up a robot mounted camera to perform 3D pick-and-place operations, and use a camera-laser combination to perform surface inspection or capture the 3D shape of an object
10.30 bis 11.00: MIL color analysis (English)
Learn how MIL's new color module is ideal for applications that require supervised color segmentation, supervised color recognition, and color projection techniques
11.15 bis 12.15: MIL multi-core / GPU / FPGA processing (English)
Discover how MIL takes advantage of the full power of today's multi-core CPUs, FPGAs and GPUs
Matrox FPGA Developer's Toolkit – FDK
Matrox FPGA Developer’s Toolkit (FDK) is a comprehensive development suite that includes the tools necessary to quickly develop and deploy fully customized FPGA configurations for Altera®-based Matrox Imaging processing hardware. The Matrox FDK enables the creation of FPGA configurations that maximize the offload or acceleration of image processing functions.
The upcoming version of the toolkit, FDK 2.0, has been tailored to meet the needs of software developers through Altera® C2H, which opens up custom FPGA development using standard ANSI-C. Altera® C2H combined with the Matrox SOPC library and Matrox productivity tools enables software developers to directly create and accelerate image processing functions using FPGAs.
5. November 2008
13.30 bis 14.00: Matrox FDK-based FPGA development (English)
Discover how easy it is to implement high-performance on FPGAs using standard ANSI-C.
