(PresseBox) (Burlington, Ontario, Canada, )
RAMPF Composite Solutions is supporting two government-funded programs as industry partner to deliver advanced training for the next generation of composite specialists in Ontario.

Key Takeaways
  1. RAMPF Composite Solutions, a leading expert in the manufacture of carbon fiber and fiberglass composite parts for the aerospace, defense, consumer products, and medical industries, has been selected as industry partner for two government-funded programs to train the next generation of composite specialists in Ontario, Canada.
  2. The McMaster University Upskilling Program to support becoming a Certified Composite Technician provides hands-on training with advanced lightweight materials using industry-standard equipment.
  3. The Automotive & General Manufacturing Composite Assembly Worker (AGMCAW) Program teaches key composite processes such as lamination, vacuum bagging, and curing, together with an overview of wet-layup repair and NDI-based inspections.
The McMaster University Upskilling Program to support becoming a Certified Composite Technician and the Automotive & General Manufacturing Composite Assembly Worker (AGMCAW) Program were launched to empower skilled immigrants, address talent shortages in advanced manufacturing and aerospace, and strengthen Ontario’s economic resilience through strategic collaboration between government, educational institutions, and industry.

• The McMaster University Upskilling Program Certified Composite Technician is designed for newcomers to the composites industry with prior experience in manufacturing and/or aerospace. This intensive one-week program provides hands-on training with advanced lightweight materials using industry-standard equipment. Thanks to funding from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development, the program is offered free of charge to eligible participants.

• The AGMCAW program complements this initiative by focusing on essential composite processes such as mold and part designs, lamination, vacuum bagging and infusion, curing, and inspection of composites using Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) methods. This Employment Ontario project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Larry Fitzgerald, CEO of RAMPF Composite Solutions – “These training programs are beneficial both to our region and its companies. We take pride in being chosen to teach how we develop and manufacture highly modern composites for the aerospace, defense and security, medical, green transport, premium consumer goods, and watercraft industries. Our team of experts is committed to supporting motivated professionals who want to build a career in the dynamically growing composite manufacturing industry.”
