The RAMPF Group welcomed Dr. Max Menton, CDU candidate for the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from the Reutlingen constituency, to Grafenberg for an in-depth exchange. In discussions with CEOs Michael and Matthias Rampf as well as CFO Horst Bader, the parties focused on the increasingly challenging business environment in the region and the current political climate in Germany.

“The speed at which industrial SMEs in our region are running into difficulties is alarming. Many political representatives still fail to recognize the severity of this development. That is exactly why I am running in the state election – to ensure this reality receives the attention it deserves and to be a reliable partner for local businesses,” emphasized Max Menton.

Matthias Rampf underscored that economic relief is key to ensuring resilience and growth: “The recovery triggered by such measures would positively impact job security and the political climate. I am convinced that if democratic parties manage to revitalize the economy through bold and pragmatic legislation, the political fringes – both right and left – will lose substantial influence.”

Michael Rampf added: “Parts of the media also contribute to the increasingly polarized atmosphere and the rise of extremist forces on both ends of the spectrum. Of course, analyzing and criticizing political statements is part of journalism. However, some outlets take this to an extreme, distorting statements to such a degree that meaningful discourse becomes difficult and societal division deepens.”

During a tour of the RAMPF Innovation Center, Max Menton was impressed by the extensive laboratory facilities and the company’s strong focus on sustainability: “The chemical recycling technology developed by RAMPF demonstrates how innovation and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. In this area, we do not need additional regulation but stronger economic incentives – both at the national and European level.”
