Hubertus Väth brings to quantumrock an illustrious career that spans over three decades in the financial sector, marked by significant achievements and leadership roles. During his 12-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, Väth has held several key positions, including Head of Communications and Chief Economist for Asia, as well as Global Head of Marketing for Wealth Management, demonstrating his versatile expertise across the globe in Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Singapore.
In 1997, Väth established the NewMark Group, where he still serves as CEO of NewMark Finanzkommunikation GmbH. Under his leadership, the company has been established as the industry leader in financial sector communications in Germany, setting new standards in market research, business consulting, and financial communication.
His strategic acumen was further recognized in 2008 when he was appointed Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance, the Financial Centre initiative for Frankfurt, where he plays a pivotal role in promoting Frankfurt as the leading Financial Centre in Germany and the Euro Zone. Väth's influence extended internationally in 2018 upon his appointment to the Board of Directors of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC), facilitating global cooperation and the exchange of best practices among financial centres.
