QNX und Distributor TechKinetics expandieren nach China

Die Eröffnung einer Niederlassung in Shanghai durch seinen Distributor TechKinetics ist für QNX Software Systems der erste Schritt hin zu einer stärkeren Präsenz in China. Zwei weitere Niederlassungen des Distributors in Peking und Shenzhen sind für Juni und Herbst diesen Jahres geplant. TechKinetics mit Hauptsitz in Singapur ist einer der wichtigsten QNX-Distributoren. In China wird TechKinetics Marktsegmente wie Multimedia, Networking oder Verkehrswesen bedienen. Zum Portfolio zählen zudem lokale Vertriebsaktivitäten, Kundentraining, Beratung, Support vor Ort sowie Software-Entwicklungsleistungen für das Echtzeitbetriebssystem QNX Neutrino und die QNX Momentics Development Suite. Gemäß der Marktforscher der Venture Development Corporation soll der asiatisch-pazifische Markt für Embedded Hard- und Software in den kommenden Jahren um 18 Prozent jährlich wachsen.
