QNAP® Systems, Inc. erweitert die Anzahl kompatibler Peripheriegeräte für Turbo NAS-Produkte. Die Ergänzungen, zu denen 13 interne 3,5-Zoll- SATA-Festplatten von über 1 TB bis hin zu 4 TB, 28 interne 2,5-Zoll-Solid-State-Laufwerke mit 60 bis 512 GB, zwei Softwarepakete von Drittanbietern und drei UPnP-Router gehören, sind ab sofort voll kompatibel. Durch die erweiterte Kompatibilität können Benutzer noch praktischer und flexibler Peripheriegeräte auswählen.

QNAP Turbo NAS sind ab sofort kompatibel mit der Western Digital® Red-Serie, die speziell für NAS-Lösungen entwickelt wurden. Die WD Red Serie ist die einzige Festplatten Serie, die speziell für 1- bis 5 Bay NAS entwickelt wurde. Die Festplatten sind für den 24 Stunden Einsatz entwickelt und getestet und damit einzigartig für den Einsatz in NAS Systemen.
