To simplify these tests, PSI has developed the first fully configurable test tool for WMS. With the automated testing procedure integrated into the PSIwms software, PSI offers a particularly intuitive solution for simulating intralogistics processes.
The functionality of a warehouse must be tested regularly to ensure that after changes in the WMS or in the intralogistics all relevant processes run permanently and with consistent quality. It is essential that users can test the system themselves after they made changes to the intralogistics or a new software release has been installed. All predefined test cases are automatically simulated on a regular basis using a test database that maps the warehouse. Thus, for example, hundreds of inbound deliveries with different control parameters can be virtually received, transferred, picked and shipped within a few minutes. In doing so, the program uncovers possible need for action without affecting the physical warehouse.
