Motricity Deutschland GmbH firmiert ab sofort unter neuem Namen

Die Motricity Deutschland GmbH mit Sitz in München firmiert ab sofort unter dem neuen Namen PocketGear Deutschland GmbH. Mit der Umbenennung trägt das Unternehmen der Restrukturierung der amerikanischen Muttergesellschaft Rechnung. Bereits im Juni war das Consumer-Geschäft von Motricity USA in eine eigenständige Gesellschaft unter Führung des Mitbegründers von Motricity, Jud Bowman, ausgegliedert worden.

PocketGear Deutschland betreibt Software-Download Portale für PDA- und Smartphone-Applikationen unter den eigenen Brands Mobile2Day.de, SymbianGear.de, PalmGear.de und PocketGear.net sowie für namhafte Partner wie AOL, T-Online, Mobilcom, Sony Ericsson etc.. Für Kunden und Partner des Unternehmens ändert sich durch die Umbenennung nichts. PocketGear Deutschland wird auch weiterhin den bekannten guten Service für Endkunden und Partner aufrecht erhalten und seine innovative Shop-Technologie konsequent weiterentwickeln.
