(PresseBox) (Karlsruhe, )
asknet AG, a subsidiary of the Swiss-listed international technology and media company The Native SA (www.thenative.ch), has expanded its range of services. In addition to selling Microsoft software products for universities, asknet now also manages the distribution of licenses for Office 365 ProPlus including customer support. Academic customers thus benefit not only from attractive discounts when purchasing software via asknet, but also from the professional and efficient administration of the licenses.

Three renowned German universities have already been acquired as customers for the complete package. For its academic customers, asknet manages the creation and administration of Office 365 ProPlus permissions as well as the distribution of licenses via an asknet portal, including the in most cases fully automated verification of users. In addition, asknet also provides customer support for the installation of the programs and supports students and staff in all matters relating to ordering, downloading and periodical license renewals.

Michael Baumann, Head of the Academics Business Unit: “We are very pleased that we can now offer our customers all services relating to the distribution of Microsoft licenses from a single source. The service has been well received by the market and we are already in talks with other universities and institutions that have expressed interest in our bundled package of license distribution and customer support.”
