Erstmalig findet am 24. und 25. November 2009 im Konferenzzentrum München datacon'09 - Die Konferenz für Datenprofis - statt.

Angesprochen werden Datenbank- und Systemadministratoren, Softwareentwickler, CIOs, Business Manager und Consultants, die sich über praktische Lösungen in den Bereichen Datenintegration, Business Intelligence, Cloud Databases und O/R Mapping informieren wollen.

Die Keynote am 24. November hält Prof. Dr. Volker Markl von der TU Berlin zum Thema "Challenges in Information Management". In vier moderierten Thementracks (Datenintegration, Business Intelligence, Cloud Databases, O/R Mapping) mit 20 Top-Referenten gibt es u.a. Praxisvorträge von Oracle, Microsoft, Sun und IBM.

Die datacon'09 ist eine Veranstaltung der databasepro, dem Fachmagazin der Neuen Mediengesellschaft.
