The Suibamoond e.V. aid project cares for traumatised children and young people who have been victims of physical, sexual or emotional abuse. The association employs specialists from organisations and counselling centres who help children and young people to cope with and process their experiences.
For the third time in a row, employees in Waldkraiburg supported the association with a so-called wish tree. A Christmas tree was set up in the FELIX company restaurant, which was decorated with wish lists from the children and teenagers cared for by Suibamoond. All 132 wishes were fulfilled!
Alfons Hasenknopf, 1st chairman of the association, and a few children were present at the handover in the company restaurant. ‘Every year, I am touched by the heartfelt commitment shown by NETZSCH employees. For our children and young people, each individual gift means much more than its material value. It gives them a feeling of being seen, hope, and a bit of lightheartedness in what is often a difficult time,’ said the chairman happily.
