The Lean & Green Management Award has been presented annually since 2012. Companies can have their sustainability and lean strategies evaluated using a benchmark and also learn from each other. Scientific support is provided by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS). An independent jury consisting of members from science, business, and the media areas analyzes the approaches and their implementation by the participating companies in the areas of sustainability and lean management.
NETZSCH was honored for its impressive results in the area of end-to-end sustainability, its integration into management systems, and the effectiveness of its CO2 reduction measures.
For Johann Vetter, Director of Integrated Quality Management Systems, the award is both confirmation and motivation.
