In addition to Corpus Christi, Nabaltec also has successfully implemented the planned capacity extension at the Schwandorf location. A new production line for APYRALÒ CD qualities commenced operations a few days ago. The company’s overall production capacity for fine hydroxides has thus risen by 13,000 tonnes to a current total of 93,000 tonnes in the Group. A further 13,000 tonnes of capacity are currently being installed in the form of an additional new production line at Schwandorf. These volumes will be available to the market from March 2008.
"By making these investments, we will be able to do justice to the ongoing high level of demand for our products", commented Gerhard Witzany, Member of the Board of Nabaltec AG. "The additional capacities in Schwandorf will enable us not only to make up for the impact of Nashtec, but also to successfully maintain the track record of growth seen in the past. In the current financial year, this will be reflected in consolidated sales of around EUR 95 million and year-on-year earnings growth."
