The mycon GmbH, a pioneer in the development of cleaning and automation solutions, introduces the JetBoy AS, an innovative cleaning system for heat exchangers, which stands out for its fully pneumatic automation. This new development aims to significantly improve the efficiency and sustainability of cleaning processes in the industry.

mycon offers automation solutions for almost all mycon devices. For the cleaning of finned heat exchangers, mycon has been offering JetMaster AS for years, a fully automated and electronically controlled solution, which, however, is only used for the automated cleaning of large exchange surfaces due to the relatively high investment costs.

JetBoy AS - robust, fast, and easy to install worldwide

The JetBoy AS was developed to fill a gap in the market and enable efficient and cost-effective automated cleaning of smaller heat exchanger surfaces of approximately 1 to 200 square meters. By automating the cleaning process, cleaning times and costs are reduced, allowing for more frequent cleanings and significantly increasing the energy efficiency of the system. Additionally, employees are relieved of physically demanding tasks, increasing productivity and promoting a healthier work environment.

The use of blasting nozzles, which can have a width of 50 to 150 millimeters depending on requirements, allows for flexible adaptation to different cleaning tasks. Depending on the selected nozzle size, the JetBoy AS requires an air volume of approximately 2.5 to 6.0 cubic meters per minute and a water quantity of about 0.30 to 1.00 liters per minute. This efficiency in resource consumption results in a correspondingly low amount of wastewater, minimizing the ecological footprint of the cleaning process.
