MSC Technologies presents 5W AC-DC single output converter from YDS for space-limited application

MSC Technologies, a company of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), presents the new Yuan Dean Scientific (YDS) 5W AC-DC power module converter GA5E family for space-limited application.

The converters have an universal input voltage range of 90~264VACin with output voltages of 3.3V/5V/9V/12V/15V/24V depending on model with an efficiency of up to 85%, potted in a fully encapsulated 1x1 inch (25.4x25.4mm) 5-pin DIP housing.

The insulation barrier primary to secondary is 3kVAC (measured at 5mA; 5s). The converters are designed in compliance to UL/IEC 60950-1 and full protected against overload (max. 110% output power), overvoltage and short circuit conditions.

For more than 20 years YDS has experience in designing and manufacturing power devices (AC-DC; DC-DC converters) passive components like RJ45 w/o magnetics, 10/100/1G/2.5G/10G Base-T Filters, delay lines and transformers. Due to their strong R&D strategy and flexibility YDS is able to fulfill also all kinds of customized requirements within short time and best quality.
