Auf der diesjährigen IFA findet erstmals eine gemeinsame Leistungsschau zum Thema Voice over IP in Unternehmen und Haushalten statt. Die VoIP-World in der Telekommunikationshalle 4.2 ist eine gemeinsame Initiative des führenden Voice over IP-Portals VoIPphones.de und der Messe Berlin.

Auf mehr als 160 qm präsentieren Austeller u. a. aus Deutschland und Österreich das aktuelle Leistungsspektrum für IP-basierte Kommunikation (Sprache, Bild, Daten) in Unternehmen und für Jedermann. Die beteiligten Unternehmen stellen die neuesten Telefon- und Nebenstellenanlagen, Schnurlostelefone und Software-lösungen zum Telefonieren über das Internet-Protokoll vor.

Mit der Integration des Themas Voice over IP / IP-Kommunikation in die weltweit führende Ordermesse für Unterhaltungselektronik unterstreicht die Messe Berlin das Zusammenwachsen von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien in Beruf (Arbeitszimmer) und Privatleben (Wohnzimmer).

Begleitet wird die VoIP-World in Halle 4.2 (Stand 107) durch ein breit gefächertes Vortragsprogramm für die Besucher der IFA 2006. Experten aus ganz Deutschland stellen auf der VoIP-Word-Bühne neueste Trends und interessante Tipps zu Voice over IP vor. Drei tägliche Verlosungen attraktiver Preise aus der neuen Welt der IP-Kommunikation runden das Angebot der VoIP-World 2006 von Messe Berlin und VoIPphones.de in Berlin ab.
