Modula and status C: Partnership for a more connected and automated intralogistic

Hall: 1 / Stand number: 1C67

(PresseBox) (Salvaterra di Casalgrande, )
Hall: 1 / Stand number: 1C67

Automation and the digitalization of logistics processes are essential elements for making warehouse management systems more efficient, faster, and seamlessly connected to VLMs. In this context, a new partnership has emerged between Modula, an Italian leader in intralogistics and a global player in the vertical automated warehouse sector, and status C, a German consulting and IT solutions company specializing on digitizing intralogistics with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA. These two international players have come together in a synergy aiming for simplifying and optimizing the interaction between the Modula storage systems and the SAP warehouse management system.

The partnership will be presented at the LogiMAT 2025 trade fair between March 11th and March 13th, where Modula will exhibit in Hall 1, Stand 1C67. During the event in Struttgart, Germany, Modula and status C will showcase to clients, visitors, and stakeholders how an integrated solution between VLM and the SAP WMS can be made future-proof and easy-to-use, thus demonstrating how the synergy between Modula and status C can support companies from various sectors in their digital transformation of intralogistics.

Thanks to this collaboration, companies using SAP WMS can now integrate Modula’s automated vertical warehouses without the need for third-party software or complex custom developments. The integration is made possible through the smart SAP AddOn “status C connect:IT”, which enables direct communication between the SAP system and Modula’s automated storage systems, ensuring immediate synchronization of all warehouse data. This means that every operation — from picking to putaway — is tracked in real time within the SAP system, eliminating manual input or intermediary steps, reducing errors, and cutting processing times. All while maintaining a state-of-the-art user experience with intuitive applications.

The interconnection between the two systems ensures a smoother and faster operational flow: orders generated in SAP are automatically sent to Modula machines, which carry out the necessary operations and return updated data to the SAP system and are therefore displayed in the “status C connect:IT” software. This automation enables companies to improve productivity, optimize inventory management and reduce operational costs. Additionally, the integration is transparent to users, who can continue working within the SAP environment without the need to acquire new skills.

Thanks to the partnership between Modula and status C, companies will benefit from a fully integrated ecosystem that enhances the speed and reliability of warehouse operations, improving the efficiency of the entire supply chain and making logistics ever more “intelligent” and connected.
