At the EuroCIS 2009 (10 to 12 February, Messe Düsseldorf) METTLER TOLEDO is presenting the counter scales bC-U2 with dual printer. METTLER TOLEDO is continuing the success story of the Mira/LP series in the market segment for mid-range scales, with the bC-Line which was launched in 2007.
Whether at the sales counter, in the self-service area or in pre-packaging – with service scales, hanging scales, self-service scales and retail terminals, the range of models in the bC-Line leave nothing to be desired.
Fast printing of receipts and labels
The counter scales bC-U2 with dual printer, which is suitable for nearly all fresh ranges, kills two birds with one stone. Thanks to the integrated printer for receipt and label printing the scales can be used both in service and to pre-pack the goods. The transition from labelling to service mode is effected at the simple push of a button. As with all models in the bC-Line, the counter scales bC-U2 also sets quite a pace. Receipts and labels are printed at a speed of 125 millimetres a second. That saves time and money: the bC-U2 speeds up service and thus reduces the time customers spend waiting.
Wireless network integration
The METTLER TOLEDO bC-Line – the abbreviation stands for “best Connectivity” – makes it possible to integrate up to 64 bC scales in a single network. In addition to standard interfaces for networks with wired connections, the bC-Line has the option of using a wireless network integration of the scales by means of established WLAN-Standards. The user is thus given more scope to position the bC-U2 freely within his sales environment. As the wireless module is integrated into the scales, the wireless network connection avoids unnecessary hygiene risks. Beyond that, the options for connecting further hardware, as well as the fact that the software can be upgraded, ensure a high level of protection for the investment and make it possible for the scales to grow to match changing requirements.
High-quality display plus light-touch keypad
More contrast, better legibility when viewed from an angle: the bC-U2 is convincing both in the LCD version as well as the high-density dot matrix one because of its out-standing display properties. The customer display is thus also suitable for presenting advertising texts when the scales are in standby. Ergonomically convincing: the patented light-touch keypad. Thanks to its excellent haptics, it transforms service into a real pleasure. As with all models in the bC-Line, the keypad of the bC-U2 is also detachable. That makes thorough and hygienic cleaning of the keypad easier, lengthens its lifespan – and saves costs in the process.
