Given the growth targets of the company, purchasing and supplier development are gaining in strategic importance. In line with turnover, the purchasing volume of the filtration specialist is expected to increase by approximately 40% by 2018 to reach 2.5 billion euros.

The Global Supplier Event 2013 of the MANN+HUMMEL group takes place under the motto "connected for success – boosting global purchasing performance". The awards are designed to be an acknowledgement of the successful partnerships suppliers have with the company, and also serve as an incentive for future co-operation.
