Mit dem LSE LinOTP Authentication Provider erweitert die LSE das Portfolio der bestehenden Authentication Provider für die Betriebssysteme Microsoft Windows und Linux um OS X®. Dadurch lassen sich Token-Lösungen plattform- und technologieübergreifend realisieren. Das neue Produkt verbessert die Sicherheit des Logins mit einer One-Time-Password-Lösung (OTP). Mit LSE LinOTP im Backend werden alle bestehenden OTP-Implementierungen wie mobile Apps (Google Authenticator, FreeOTP) und Tokens (z. B. OATH, Yubikey) unterstützt. Die Konfiguration erfolgt über einen in die OS X® Umgebung nativ integrierten Konfigurationsdialog. Mit LSE LinOTP lässt sich dadurch adaptive Multi-Faktor-Authentifizierung (MFA/2FA) nun auch auf Mac-Umgebungen ausweiten.
LSE LinOTP Authentication Provider kommuniziert mit LinOTP im Backend über eine verschlüsselte HTTPS-Verbindung, welche auch hoch verfügbare Szenarien mit Round Robin- oder Load-Balancing-Szenarien ermöglicht.
LSE ist auf der RSA Conference vom 29. Februar bis 4. März 2016 am Stand #S815 South Expo als Unteraussteller der OATH-Organisation (Initiative für Open Authentication) vertreten.
