Coming together to make more happen: Logwin plans German-wide day of action for families in cooperation with Save the Children

(PresseBox) (Grevenmacher/Großostheim, )
Being socially engaged and taking corporate responsibility is part of a Logwin corporate culture that spans all areas of the company. Logwin employees have been actively involved in social projects for many years and work with aid organisations to develop project ideas that provide long-term benefits to society. A current project is with the world's largest children's aid organisation, Save the Children. The  works council together with Logwin's corporate management held a 1-day workshop to develop the German-wide day of action for families.

"To work together for a good cause and thereby provide a good example to employees on becoming socially active is not only important for us as the joint works council. We also see it as one of our obligations in our role within the company." On this, the 25 Logwin employee representatives were unanimous.

The outcome of the workshop was Logwin's German-wide day of action for the benefit of families in which donations would also be collected for the aid organisation. "We have developed a range of different ideas so that there is something appropriate for every Logwin location. It was important to us not only to collect donations but also that our employees and their families could spend a nice day together", concluded one of the employee representatives.

The family day of action is to take place on the International Children's Day on 18/19 November in all Logwin's German branches. Last year, Logwin actively supported Save the Children with a donation and aid transport. With this new project, the company is extending its cooperation with the international aid organisation who uphold the rights of children.
