Quick to integrate and install

(PresseBox) (Owen, )
Leuze is expanding its safety product range with the ELC 100 safety light curtains: When guarding points of operation, these robust devices focus on the key features.

Manufacturers and operating companies of machines and systems can now use new Leuze safety technology for contactless guarding of points of operation: The ELC 100 safety light curtains represent an alternative to the MLC 500 series. Especially when it comes to a cost-effective machine design. They are suitable for applications with operating ranges of up to six meters.

Reliably safe

These robust safety light curtains have the key features for guarding machine openings and access points on machines or systems. Their resolutions of 17 and 30 millimeters enable them to reliably detect fingers and hands. The protective field extends to the edge of the housing so that no dead zones are created during integration. The devices are available with protective field lengths of 300 to 1,500 millimeters. They are also particularly resistant to shocks and vibrations.

Quick and easy to install

Thanks to their 4-pin connection and supports with swivel function, the ELC 100 safety light curtains are quick to install. A practical feature is the multi-level alignment display, which is easy to read and can be used to quickly position the devices in the optimum alignment. The devices do not require configuration.
