Mit der cw-Laseridode ADL-65074zl von Arima bietet LASER COMPONENTS erstmals eine Laserquelle an, die als SMD direkt auf einer Platine verbaut werden kann und gleichzeitig durch eine hermetisch dichte TO56-Kappe gegen Staub und Feuchtigkeit geschützt ist. Das platzsparende Gehäuse ist gerade einmal 1,9 mm hoch und damit unwesentlich größer als eine reine SMD-Lösung.

Die versiegelte SMD-Laserquelle ist aktuell für die Wellenlänge 655 nm erhältlich und liefert bei einem Betriebsstrom von 25 mA eine Laserleistung von 10 mW.

»ADL-65074zl vereint erstmals die Vorteile von SMD-Montage und TO56-Gehäuse«, sagt Manuel Herbst, Produktingenieur bei LASER COMPONENTS. »Es ist gut möglich, dass diese Lösung bald zum neuen Industriestandard wird.«
