Weißlichtquellen im 7×7 mm SMD-Gehäuse

KYOCERA SLD Laser, Inc. hat sein Angebot an lichtstarken Weißlichtquellen weiter ausgebaut. Um sie für den Einsatz in Industrieanwendungen attraktiver zu machen, hat der Hersteller die Lebensdauer seiner 500 Lumen-Chips auf 10.000 Stunden gesteigert. Bei der zweiten Neuerung ist es gelungen, den Lichtstrom der SMD-Weißlichtquellen auf 1.000 Lumen zu verdoppeln. Für Anwendungen, bei denen das Licht über eine Faser übertragen wird, bietet das entscheidende Vorteile: Bei medizinischen Endoskopen lassen sich durch den extrem hohen Lichtstrom und den kleinen Strahldurchmesser noch dünnere Fasern verwenden; bei industriellen Endoskopen kann man das Licht über längere Strecken übertragen als bisher.

Alle SMD-Weißlichtquellen von KYOCERA SLD Laser sind bei LASER COMPONENTS auf einem 7×7 mm SMD-Gehäuse erhältlich. Um bei Tests und Evaluierungen den Anschluss an die Stromquelle zu erleichtern, werden sie auf Wunsch auch mit Starboard und integrierten Sicherheitsfunktionen geliefert.
