Dank eines neuartigen Produktionsverfahrens kann LASER COMPONENTS jetzt kostengünstig leistungsstarke Breitband-Diffusoren anbieten, die vom Zulieferer Holo/OR nach Kundenspezifikationen gefertigt werden. Diese Streufilter decken einen Wellenlängenbereich von UV bis NIR ab und wurden speziell für Anwendungen mit hohen Laserleistungen entwickelt, die mehrere Wellenlängen im gleichen optischen Pfad verwenden. Das Licht wird mit einer Effizienz von über 90% einheitlich verteilt und es entsteht keine nullte Beugungsordnung. Die Diffusoren können wie gewöhnliche diffraktive optische Elemente (DOEs) eingesetzt werden und sind für die Spotformen rund, rechteckig und linienförmig erhältlich. Typische Anwendungsbereiche sind die ästhetische Medizin, wo einige wenige Wellenlängen für verschiedene Verfahren verwendet werden, die Mikroskopie mit Breitbandquellen und wissenschaftliche Anwendungen.
