LASER COMPONENTS Introduces UV Partner CrayoNano

Innovative Semiconductor Technology

(PresseBox) (Olching, )
LASER COMPONENTS expands its range of UV LEDs with products from CrayoNano, a new and innovative Norwegian manufacturer that uses revolutionary nanotechnology to develop highly durable semiconductors. Their first product is a germicidal UVC LED, which lays the groundwork for current and future advancements in this field. The agreement initially applies to the EMEA sales area, with a focus on developing the fast-growing market for UVC LED applications through joint efforts.

Stefan Stockbauer, Global Sales Director at CrayoNano, said: »We are looking forward to collaborating with a partner like LASER COMPONENTS, which not only has a powerful sales network, but also extensive technical expertise. This allows us to focus on our core competence: the further development of our technology and the expansion of our product portfolio.«

This strategic alliance between two industry leaders will pave the way for new and innovative solutions that meet the growing demand for safe and effective disinfection technology. »Yole Développement estimates a market size of $2.5 Bn for UVC LED components by 2026«, states Stockbauer. »With their technical expertise, target geographical markets, and customer base, LASER COMPONENTS will support our acceleration plan to penetrate the water, air, and surface disinfection segments as well as the growing curing market.«

Sven Schreiber, CSO at LASER COMPONENTS Germany, ads: »CrayoNano’s debut product, the CrayoLED, lays the foundation for new UVC LEDs based on robust nanotechnology. This cutting-edge technology is exactly what our customers expect in our portfolio. CrayoNano’s trust is proof that our long-standing commitment to UV LED technology is paying off.«
