Glasfaserkabel mit entspiegelten Endflächen

Neue Standards für Hochleistungslaseranwendungen

Aus eigener Fertigung stammen die Entspiegelungen für die Endflächen optischer Fasern, welche die Rückreflexionen an den Grenzflächen Glas - Luft um mehr als 3% verbessern.

Als Ummantelung des Lichtwellenleiters wird besonders der robuste und flexible Metallschutzschlauch in Ringwellenform empfohlen. Die Schutzhülle hat einen Außendurchmesser von 7,1 mm, enthält keinerlei Kunststoffteile und ist zudem frei von jeglichen Öl-bzw. Fettrückständen. Zur Gewährleistung der Potentialfreiheit werden vakuumtaugliche Isolatoren zwischen Stecker und Metallschlauch montiert. Alternativ sind die Fasern auch mit Teflon-Schutzschläuchen erhältlich.

Bei den Stecksystemen haben sich für High-Power Anwendungen der SMA-Stecker und der Mitsubishi LD-80 kompatible Stecker D-80 im Markt durchgesetzt. Bei beiden Steckern ist die Faser freistehend; bezüglich der Faserführungsbohrung können sie auf unterschiedliche Fasertypen angepasst werden. Für sehr hohe Leistungen rät LASER COMPONENTS die Verwendung von Steckern mit Kupferferrule, um die anfallende Wärme optimal abzuführen.
