Viavi’s OneAdvisor 800 simplifies the work of service technicians and installers when expanding 4G and 5G mobile networks. This measurement device, which is distributed by LASER COMPONENTS, combines the functionalities of various individual devices such as OTDR, fiber optic test microscopes, and cable and antenna analyzers (CAA). This allows the technician to perform all fiber optic, RF, and CPRI/Ethernet tests with the same tool. Thus, the OneAdvisor 800 supports all common cellular standards (LTE and 5G) and network topologies.

An automated workflow guides the user through all operational steps. The test processes and workflows are defined centrally and transferred to all test devices. This makes it possible for the provider to be sure that every job is executed quickly, completely, and according to the same specifications – regardless of the experience and skill level of the technician. The employee at the cell tower knows that the OneAdvisor 800 is already configured correctly and reliably delivers meaningful pass/fail results that are automatically output to a final summary report.
