High-power large “GC” line backlights for robotic applications

TPL Vision’s large “GC” line backlights (from 300x300mm to 1500x1500mm) have been developed specifically for the industrial vision market and as an alternative to backlights with fluorescent tubes.

They are very powerful and homogeneous (>85%) and come in different wavelengths, including infra red.
They are mostly used in applications that detect contours of a part through the shadowgraph method. They can also be used for high power diffuse directional lighting.
