SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH expands its product range of measuring devices – in cooperation with AudioDev

(PresseBox) (Bad Kreuznach, )
With immediate effect, Schneider-Kreuznach will be marketing ETA-ARC-AT reflectometers from AudioDev exclusively and Europe-wide. These devices enable non-destructive testing of the spectral reflection of curved surfaces in less than one second. Measurements can be taken at any point on the surface, i.e. they are not limited to the centre of the lens. Special features include high absolute precision of up to 0.04 % and a spectral range of 380 to 1050 nm or 850 to 1700 nm. The systems can also measure the thickness of individual layers, even cement layers. Furthermore, they can determine the chromaticity of the coating based on the CIE standard colour chart. The devices are mainly used for incoming and outgoing goods inspection and in the development of antireflective coatings for optical lenses and other substrates.

Both companies benefit from the alliance. “In the past, we only developed and produced measuring devices to test our own products. We only entered the market for these products this year. AudioDev complements our range of products for our customers in an ideal way,” says Dr. Josef Staub, CEO of the Schneider Group. AudioDev specializes in systems for the spectrometric measurement of layer thickness and colour as well as image-processing measuring devices. “We are delighted to be able to work together with Schneider-Kreuznach with its excellent reputation in the optical industry and strong sales function,” says Marianne Sernevi, CEO of the Swedish company AudioDev Sweden AB with headquarters in Malmö.
