Ranking methodology
The Mittelstand 10,000 ranking is based on the DDW scoring index with 39 criteria weighted differently. Quantitative indicators such as sales and number of employees are included in the evaluation. The methodology also takes qualitative indicators such as social commitment and sustainability into account.
