Wie IREES Lösungen zur Dekarbonisierung der Wärmeinfrastruktur in Kommunen entwickelt?

Mit dem Instrument der „Kommunalen Wärmeplanung“ entwickelt unser interdisziplinäres Team aus Ingenieuren, Modellierern sowie Kommunikations- und Sozialwissenschaftlern Transformationspfade für eine klimaneutrale Wärmeversorgung in Kommunen. Unter Berücksichtigung der individuellen Gegebenheiten führen wir eine Bestands- und Potentialanalyse durch. Daraufhin erstellen wir einen Umsetzungsplan und einen Maßnahmenkatalog und sorgen durch passende Kommunikations- und Akteursbeteiligungskonzepte für eine zukunftsfähige Wärmeinfrastruktur und größtmögliche Planungssicherheit vor Ort. Für die Analyse und Konzeption der Wärmeplanung nutzen wir unser eigenes Energiesystemmodell http://NetHeat (https://irees.de/netheat/).

Aktuell entwickeln wir unter anderem Energiesystemmodelle für eine treibhausgasneutrale EU in 2050 im Projekt „Pathways to Net-Zero“ (https://irees.de/2022/04/20/pathwaysnetzero-eu-2050/), arbeiten an einer wissenschaftlichen Transformationsstudie zur Dekarbonisierung der Wärmebereitstellung in der Lausitz (https://irees.de/2022/06/09/dekarbonisierung-waermesektors-lausitz/), und haben vor kurzem die Entwicklung einer nachhaltigen Wärmestrategie für die Menschen in Osnabrück abgeschlossen (https://irees.de/2022/07/26/masterplan-waerme-osnabrueck-2/).
