Gameeconomy sponsert internationalen Gaming-Wettbewerb

Mit einem Preisgeld von 1.750 Euro sponsert www.gameeconomy.de das internationale DotA-Turnier, das von der dänischen Website www.meetyourmakers.com veranstaltet wird.


Die Communityseite www.meetyourmakers.com - genannt MYM - veranstaltet seit dem 11. Juni 2007 ein "Prime Nations Tournament" für DotA, ein Strategie-Mannschaftsspiel für maximal zehn Spieler, fünf pro Team. DotA ist eine Mod für WarCraft 3.

Der internationale Wettkampf dauert ungefähr acht Wochen und es beteiligen sich insgesamt 32 Nationen! Jede teilnehmende Mannschaft besteht aus acht Spielern.

Mit einem außergewöhnlich hohen Preisgeld von 1.750 Euro sponsert www.gameeconomy.de diese Veranstaltung. Das Siegerteam erhält 1.000 Euro, die Zweitplatzierten 500 Euro und der dritte Platz wird noch mit 250 Euro ausgezeichnet.

Die Aufmerksamkeit für das Spieleturnier ist hoch, für die acht Wochen werden auf den Seiten von MYM Prime Nations mehr als eine Million Page Impressions erwartet. Auch Sender wie GIGA2 und ArenaTV.ru, verschiedene Onlineradios und Printmedien stellen den Wettkampf vor.
