PROTIQ ist Spezialist auf dem Gebiet des industriellen 3D-Drucks und betreibt hierzu einen innovativen Online-Marktplatz für die Bestellung von Bauteilen. Das gewünschte Bauteil wird als CAD-Konstruktionszeichnung oder als 3D-Datenmodell hochgeladen und kurzfristig bei PROTIQ gedruckt – und das auch aus ZINK.

PROTIQ ist es als weltweit erstem 3D-Druck-Anbieter gelungen, einen Prozess zur additiven Verarbeitung von ZINK zu entwickeln und serienreif einzusetzen. Für den 3D-Druck nutzt PROTIQ die bereits im Bereich Zinkdruckguss bekannte und bewährte Legierung Zamak 5 (ZP 0410). Der 3D-Druck bietet Vorteile bei der Erstellung von Prototypen in der Produktentwicklung und bei Kleinserien und Ersatzteilbedarf. Der 3D-Druck von PROTIQ ist durch ein Qualitätsmanagementsystem nach ISO 9001 überwacht und zertifiziert.

Die Initiative Zink im Netzwerk der WVMetalle/GDB ist ein Zusammenschluss von Zink- und Zinklegierungsherstellern, Zinkrecyclern, Halbzeugproduzenten, Herstellern und Verarbeitern von Zinkverbindungen. Sie ist Ansprechpartner für Behörden, Anwender und für die Presse in allen Fragen rund um das Zink. Die Initiative Zink hat ihren Sitz in Düsseldorf und arbeitet in enger Kooperation mit nationalen und internationalen Zinkverbänden.
