Ingram Micro Mobility enhances service offering with smartphone and tablet trade-in programs

Ingram Micro Mobility signs an agreement with CANAI to provide a number of smartphone and tablet trade-in services to the European channel

Brightpoint EMEA Enterprise Ltd ("Ingram Micro Mobility"), an indirect subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with CANAI (Europe) Limited ("CANAI"), an internationally-recognised company specialising in the sustainable recovery, re-use and recycling of superfluous electronics, to provide a number of trade-in solutions to reseller customers and mobile device vendors throughout Europe.

Customers will be able to rapidly deploy a flexible trade-in solution through a customised online platform, which offers full audit and tracking capabilities, environmental compliance and white label options allowing full POS IT systems integration.

Established in 2001, CANAI has been providing solutions through its applications across five continents and approximately 6,000 points of sale. Solutions provided are for the attainment of financial incentives offered to its partners, as well as environmental preservation.
