Mit deutlicher Mehrheit haben sich die Bürgerinnen und Bürger in Baden-Württemberg für Stuttgart 21 und die Neubaustrecke nach Ulm ausgesprochen. "Das ist ein klares Signal an die Landesregierung", freut sich IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführerin Elke Schweig. "Jetzt muss Stuttgart 21 unverzüglich weitergebaut werden." Sie setzt dabei auch auf die Autorität von Ministerpräsident Winfried Kretschmann, dass alle Mitglieder seines Kabinetts das Votum der Wähler in Baden-Württemberg akzeptieren. "Wir erwarten, dass nach Schlichtung, Stresstest und Volksabstimmung das Projekt zügig vorankommt und von der grün-roten Landesregierung konstruktiv begleitet wird."
