Saar-Arbeitsmarkt weiterhin in guter Verfassung

„Der Arbeitsmarkt hat im Ferienmonat Juli die übliche Sommerpause eingelegt. Nach wie vor ist er aber in guter Verfassung. Diese dürfte sich mit der beginnenden Herbstbelebung sogar noch weiter verbessern. Aufs Jahr gerechnet bleiben wir daher bei unserer Prognose von 3.000 zusätzlichen Arbeitsplätzen und einem Absinken der Arbeitslosenquote auf unter sechs Prozent. Zunehmend Sorgen macht uns aber der Bewerber- und Fachkräftemangel, insbesondere in der IT-Branche, in der Hotellerie und Gastronomie sowie im Transportgewerbe. Um eine standortgefährdende Abwärtsspirale zu verhindern, kommt es jetzt darauf an, zügig ein Fachkräftezuwanderungsgesetz zu beschließen.“ So kommentierte IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Dr. Heino Klingen die heute (31. August) von der Regionaldirektion der Bundesagentur für Arbeit vorgelegten Arbeitsmarktzahlen.
