Neue EU-Datenschutz-Grundverordnung: IHK Saarland informiert über Auswirkungen für Unternehmen

Im Mai 2018 wird die neue EU-Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DS-GVO) in Kraft treten und somit für alle Unternehmen verbindlich.
Der Anwendungsbereich der DS-GVO ist sehr weit gefasst;  Ziel ist der Schutz personenbezogener Daten (z.B. Name, Geburtsdatum oder IP-Adresse) als Ausfluss des Persönlichkeitsrechts jeder Person.

Um den saarländischen Betrieben eine rechtzeitige Vorbereitung auf die umfassenden Anforderungen des neuen Datenschutzrechts zu erleichtern, informiert die IHK ab sofort mit ihrer neuen Newsletter-Serie Datenschutz über Regelungen und Auswirkungen auf die betriebliche Praxis. Er kann unter www.saarland.ihk.de (Kennzahl 2119) abonniert werden.
