IMM Photonics offers new laser diode of 660 nm from QD Laser

The laser diode QLF063D-60C0-GM by the Japanese manufacturer QD Laser has been specially developed for use in sensors and for industrial laser-projection systems.

In CW operation, the maximum output power amounts to 130 mW, in pulse operation up to 300 mW at 500ns pulse width and 50% duty cycle. At 30 ns pulse width and 1% duty cycle, the laser diode can be operated at up to 400 mW pulse power. The new Fabry Perot diode in particular is characterised by its high operational temperature of up to 70 °C and long lifespan of over 50,000 hours.

The laser diode is offered in a TO56 casing without monitor diode.
