Der kabellose MS840BT Laser Barcodescanner ist mit einem aggressiven Laserscanner und dem Unitech Mantis Barcode Decoder ausgestattet. Beide ermöglichen ein rasches und zuverlässiges Scannen von allen handelsüblichen 1D Codes mit 100 scans/Sekunde und das über 10 Stunden ohne eine zusätzliche Akkuladung und Unterbrechung.

Das multi-interface Design ermöglicht eine flexible Verbindung der Basisstation über USB, PS2 und RS232. Darüber hinaus verfügt der Scanner über eine HID- und SPP-Architektur, welches eine Verbindung des Scanners direkt mit dem Host (ohne Basisstation) ermöglicht und auch an Kassensystemen (POS) problemlos angeschlossen werden kann.
