Milliardär und Tesla-CEO Elon Musk plant Bau einer Gigafactory in Deutschland

Neben den bereits bestehenden Gigafactories in Nevada, New York und Shanghai plant CEO des US-amerikanische Unternehmens Tesla Elon Musk die erste europäische Fabrik im brandenburgischen Grünheide direkt bei Berlin. Die Milliardeninvestition soll bis Ende 2020 fertiggestellt werden und bereits ab dem ersten Quartal 2021 mit dem Produktionsstart beginnen. Neben der Herstellung von Batterien und Antriebssträngen für E-Autos soll auch das neue SUV-Modell Y gebaut werden. Erwartet werden bis zu 10.000 neue Jobs.
