Compared to the VCPX5, the AlphaOne features a single field of view depending on the respective outer diameter range. The underlying concept is both simple and practical: in cable plants, different extrusion lines produce various intermediate products such as cores or jackets. The diameter range of these products usually remains constant. This is exactly where AlphaOne comes into play: it is installed directly on individual production lines and enables measurements directly at the point of production.
Samples can therefore be checked directly on-site without employees having to visit a central measurement station. This saves time, reduces movement within the production area, and enables faster responses to process deviations. Thanks to its compact and space-saving design, multiple devices can be flexibly installed at different production lines within a plant.
Like all VisioCablePro® products, the new version of AlphaOne consistently complies with international standards such as IEC 60811 and the automotive standard LV112. In combination with the powerful VELOX measurement software, the system meets all requirements of modern quality inspection.
