Hybrid Software adds another 'first' with worldwide launch of Proofscope Live

(PresseBox) (Freiburg, )
When the doors open on the first day of Drupa 2012, a revolution in the process of online soft proofing, collaboration and approval will be unveiled on the Hybrid Software stand with the worldwide launch of Proofscope Live. On stand E10 in hall 7A, visitors will be able to experience a true 'first' in the industry - the ability to make live, last-minute corrections to production artwork from a remote location using any web browser.

"Proofscope Live is an enhancement to Hybrid's Proofscope software, which allows online soft proofing, annotation, viewing and life-editing," says Mike Rottenborn, President & CEO of Hybrid Software. "Proofscope Live has been designed to work with HTML 5 and JavaScript, which means that the viewer can be used with any tablet or mobile, unlike most other soft-proofing systems on the market. No Flash code or Java applets are used in Proofscope or Proofscope Live, eliminating the security bottlenecks that exist with many other soft proofing tools.

"The 'Live' correction tools offer powerful capabilities to document reviewers. Enormous time savings can be made by being able to make last minute corrections without having to contact the designer, upload new artwork, re-proof the updated job, etc. This ability can cut hours off the production cycle and make the difference between hitting or missing critical deadlines."

On its Drupa stand Hybrid Software will also be demonstrating its Order Lifecycle Management, a completely new approach to the problem of how to efficiently manage orders throughout the production lifecycle. Hybrid Software is the first and only vendor to provide integration as a product, and few if any products at Drupa will cross so many technology and market boundaries as OLM.

"We can explain OLM in about thirty minutes ... not long to find out how, for a very low investment, a company could increase profitability. These could be some of the most influential and important minutes spent by visitors to Drupa 2012."

HYBRID Software GmbH

Hybrid Software was formed in 2007 as Hybrid Integration in Pennsylvania, North America. During 2011 the company created a subsidiary - Hybrid Software NV - in Kortrijk, Belgium, with responsibility for sales throughout Europe and Latin America. At this point the USA operation changed its name to Hybrid Software. There are offices in India and Germany and distributors throughout many countries. Its Order Lifecycle Management concept treats integration as a product, turning on its head conventional thinking about how to integrate hardware, software and workflows. Hybrid's Order Lifecycle Management is designed for use in all areas of print, from commercial offset and digital to packaging, labels, inkjet and the screen/sign markets.
