From March 24-26, 2026, HSM GmbH + Co. KG, a manufacturer of baling presses, PET solutions, and document shredders, will present its product solutions for the efficient compaction of recyclable materials such as cardboard and film at LogiMAT in Stuttgart (Hall 3 / Booth B55) – the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management.
With the ever-increasing consumption of cardboard and growing packaging waste, the demands on recycling have also risen. Storage space must be used more efficiently – or is often not available at all. HSM baling presses reduce the volume of recyclables by up to 95%, producing homogeneous bales that become secondary raw materials and can be reintroduced into the recycling loop. A positive side effect: bales above a certain weight have significant market value. High compaction saves storage space and simplifies transport. In addition, less strapping material is required.
